ADD Disc Golf Design Services & Process

Below are a number of interrelated services we offer for design and development of new courses or improvements and transformations of existing courses.

Walk Through and Assessment

We provide an assessment of the existing or potential course related to its viability or opportunity for improvements and transformation. We explore initial parameters, budget, and general input that the course sponsor may have regarding the design or construction of the course.

Vision, Planning, Budgeting

We help create a vision for the new course that will fit with your goals and what the terrain has to offer. Included will be a plan for a new course or the transformation of an existing course. We put together a proposed service contract which details the design stage services and needed other contract services.

Course Design & Refinements

We develop a detailed design for the course that includes specific hole designs, special features, and distances, with photography support, etc. We lay out a plan for how it can all be done and on a proposed timeline. We continue to work with the sponsor to finalize the design through interaction and initial test holes being put in place.

Construction Oversight

ADD Disc Golf is able to support the construction of your course by providing guidance to those installing baskets, tee pads and signage. We also have experience working with arborists, landscape specialists, contractors and volunteers. Overall, we are able to oversee all aspects of the design and development of your course.

Our passion for Disc Golf Drives creativity and excellence!

It’s really for the love the game. ADD Disc Golf is born from a passion for the sport and everything it brings to players and communities. Our vision is to see disc golf expand to spaces throughout America bringing creativity, challenge, recreation, and adventure to thousands while seeing communities transformed.

We develop courses that van work in any type of environment, both urban and rural. We develop designs that are fun and challenging and that enhance the park or space where they are.

By private we mean spaces that are not owned or controlled by a public entity, but are owned by a private entitty such as a church, a college, an individual, etc. We develop courses for spaces as small as 5 acres up to 25 to 30 acres. We develop a plan that will suit the unique land formation and build so the course will meet the need of the sponsor.

Almost any course we develop can be made competitive. We create courses that uniquely take advantage of the land and features of the environment to create courses that are challenging and that can be used for tournament play.

In smaller spaces we develop “pitch and putt” courses that are suitable for recreation and practice for more seasoned players. ADD Disc Golf has developed a unique circle putting green for easy putting practice and to serve as a unique recreational feature for parks.

About ADD Disc Golf...
Meet Jeff Crum, Founder & Consultant

Jeff’s passion for disc golf started in 2007 when he started playing. Over the years, Jeff’s involvement has expanded to a disc golf community leader and advocate, a tournament founder and director, and a course designer and consultant. Jeff’s passion for disc golf is infectious and for many years he led Disc Golf Uprising, a community group in the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene areas that has advocated for disc golf on the local scene, organized tournaments, recruited new players, landed many regional sponsorships and advertising relationships, and more.
